Lego Star Wars 2: The Original Trilogy Demo - 08/08/06

Lego Star Wars was one of the surprises of last year, gathering mass support from young and old alike for its charming graphics but authentic depiction of the Star Wars universe. The sequel now has a demo, which you can get with us.

This is up for release on Xbox, Gamecube, PS2 and PC, like the original, as well as on the PSP, DS, GBA and interestingly, the Xbox 360, which is news to us in all honesty. The difference with the sequel is that it focuses on the Original Trilogy, as the full name suggests, and takes everything you loved from the first game, combining it with the epic story, characters and action from the original Star Wars movies we all know and love.

You can now get in and out of vehicles, as well as being able to ride the creatures that populate Star Wars. The old mix and match returns, with over 50 characters' body parts available for customisation, apparently making millions of possible heroes. A game save from the original unlocks over 50 again, so it's an incentive to perhaps break the original out again, or even buy it on the cheap.

The difficulty has also had a lot of work on it, so no more breezing through the levels hopefully, as it now adapts to your performance. Let's face it, LucasArts and Lego's decision to do this game in the first place was genius, and it has to be experience one way or another. Below are the features, and the demo is here: www.tgsn.co.uk/legosw2demo.zip

- Expands upon all of the fun and creativity that made the original LEGO Star Wars such a hit, this time set during the original three Star Wars films (Episodes IV, V, VI).
