EA have agreed a deal with Valve to allow them to publish their future games, including Half-Life 2: Game of the Year, Counter Strike: Source, and the Xbox version of Half-Life 2.

The first game, Half-Life 2: Game of the Year is launching with the full version of Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, Counter-Strike: Source and Half-Life: Source. Counter Strike: Source is the modified version of Half-Life 2's multiplayer into the Counter Strike theme.

Defeat: Source. This deal should see even more sales of the award winning series, and Valve look set to continue their success on both the PC and Xbox.

The Xbox version of Half-Life 2 is set to release in October, and will be the full version of Half-Life 2, with a couple of refined features.

The aforementioned PC games are releasing in the Winter, and there was no mention of Counter Strike: Source on Xbox.
